A risky way to create amazing designs.

Hello everyone!!

I hope you are well despite everything that happens in the world. Let’s brighten up a bit by seeing designs that can inspire us in our sewing work. Our designer of the day:

A Colorful Mind: In The Studio With Shanghai's Crochet Queen Celia ...
Celia Bernardo, better known as CeliaB, Spanish designer.

I really enjoy the creativity of the clothes she creates. I like the risky combination of different fabrics in one garment. Also, I’ve always been a fan of African prints and textiles, and many of her creations remind me of those wonderful textiles native to Africa. Let’s see some of her designs:

What do you think of this fabric with women dancing and those ruffles in the armholes?

And what about this sublime mix of fabrics, would you dare to mix fabrics so different from each other?

And here we see again the fabric with the women dancing, but of this design I quite like the use of geometry to shape the jumpsuit. So cute!!

As I told you previously, I am a fan of this type of textiles and everything that looks like them. Here are some similar textiles that I find beautiful to work with any type of garment.

This one does not have any reviews, but I love it https://amzn.to/3a4YtRi
In love with this one too!!!!!!! https://amzn.to/34zK2Ug

I hope you like these fabrics! My favorites are the last two, which are the ones that I will try to buy to see how it goes. Some of those on the list are cotton and others are polyester. I hope you like them and they inspire you to create beautiful things!!

With love, Karina.
